MBT Athlete Marco Bonfiglio interview - Runner's World Magazine Italy

In the interview, Marco talks about his recent races and wins and how the MBT Speed is his weapon of choice. • “The strongest Italian ultra-marathons, national, European and world record in many races over 100 km” • ”The last performance in Turin 6 hour race where he won with the best world performance of the year: 85km 497m.” • “The Badwater race (2017) is a race with an infernal climate, with 4000m of active height difference and negative one of 1433m, only 100 selected athletes from all over the world take part. Unreal path, with 40 degrees Celsius but with variations of 20 or 30 depending on the position. To reach the finish (2nd place), I took 25h 44min, Italian and European records, as well as ever for a rookie! • "The miracle is that my feet, despite the tremendous effort, have survived magnificently. For this I have to thank MBT that provided me with perfect shoes, which helped me to solve the problem of the right foot flat, due to continuous fascitis. This shoe, as well as being light, is reactive and shock-absorbing, ideal for long races. The exclusive curvature of the sole helps balance. I run with advanced support, and reducing the impact on the ground of the heel, I save legs and joints."
